T-Mobile Flips in the USA with the Blackberry Pearl

T-Mobile along with RIM announced the first flip Blackberry phone to be available in the U.S. Flip phone users who also wanted a Blackberry can now have the best of both worlds. The Blackberry Pearl flip is the first of its kind.

All the features that Blackberry users know and love are on the Pearl flip, along with enhancements that come with a flip phone, such as ending calls by flipping the phone closed. Additionally, the flip offers protection for the large internal screen when it is not in use.

Flipping in Canada – Rogers Launches the Flip Blackberry

Rogers announced in November of 2008 the arrival of the Pearl Flip Blackberry in Canada. For cell phone users who prefer a flip style phone but want the features available in the Blackberry line, this is welcome news.

Candian’s will be able to have the first flip smartphone and the most reliable network all in one package. The phone will be available in black and soon to be released pink.

Germany Gets the Curve: Blackberry Curve 8900

T-Mobile Germany together with RIM announced in November of 2008 the release of the Blackberry Curve 8900. Originally called the Javelin, this Blackberry is the newest addition to the smartphone Curves.

The announcement that the new Blackberry Curve 8900 arrived in Germany shouldn’t put its arrival in the States far behind. The Blackberry Curve 8900 is the thinnest of the smartphones that have full QWERTY keyboards yet it features a full color 480x360 pixel display for brilliant images.

This new curvy creature packs a lot of life into the thinnest and lightest QWERTY Blackberry yet. Packing quad-band EDGE support with Wi-Fi and GPS this little guy delivers with full force.

Rounding out the Curve's geek qualities are a 512 MHz next-generation processor and a brilliant 480x360 high resolution color screen.

My Space HIts the Road with the MySpace Blackberry App

My Space has been a huge hit for years and now with the introduction of RIM’s My Space for Blackberry application, members of the My Space community can keep up with their friends’ news and happenings and update their own pages without being tethered to a computer.
 
It was predictably a huge success. In the first week alone there were over 400,00 downloads of the application and over 15 million messages were sent. Talk about exposure - Blackberry and RIM have to be smiling.

Alltel has decided to make it much more convenient for users of their Blackberry Curve 8330 by adding Field Force Manager to it. This increases efficiency and gives users more applications to choose from.

You might want to know what Field Force Manager is and why it is important. What this means is that you can have more management control over your business because you can keep track of your employees. As an example, a customer may call looking for a particular rep and you may not know exactly where that rep is located.
